About Free Family Art Days
Free Family Art Days are opportunities to play, imagine, and explore through a variety of art forms. These events are free for the public thanks to the generous donations of Spellbound supporters and institutional grants. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.

Lullaby Land celebrates the diversity of languages in our city and mirrors the diversity of artists in the Spellbound ensemble, as we seek to develop Spellbound’s commitment to antiracism both internally and with our audiences. This show, for 3-6 year olds and their caregivers, takes the universal experience of falling asleep and creates a magical, musical, and mysterious exploration of different languages and aesthetics from regions across the world. Lullaby Land is a devised theater project, which means that it was created by artists, or devisors, collaboratively through collective improvisation and play without an original script.
