Together We Play;
Give the Gift of Play Today

Picture
What happens between caregivers and children when they can welcome play into their day? What happens when spaces to explore art are made accessible in your community? What happens to future families, communities, and individuals when they comes together in play? Spellbound has answers...
  • We grow stronger, more resilient families;
  • We raise confident, creative individuals;
  • We nourish connected, empathetic communities;
  • We foster lifelong relationships with the arts;
  • We embolden a generation that knows how to collaborate, imagine, and care
At Spellbound Theatre, we create opportunities for children to play, explore, and imagine alongside others, and invest in their capacity to connect, empathize, and create. This begins with shared moments, and your support nurtures these moments — the giggles between parent and child, the bravery in reaching out to a puppet onstage, the tiny friendships formed on a theatre floor. When young children and their caregivers step into a Spellbound performance, they step into a world build for discovery.  It all adds up to family bonding, joyful communities, and children who feel inspired to playfully explore the world. Your gift makes these experiences possible.

Supporting baby theatre is more than just helping Spellbound put on a show; every giggle, gasp, and curious crawl towards play supports early brain development and emotional connection between family members. For little ones and caregivers, these moments of play and discovery spark joy, ease stress, and build community — the kind of magic that keeps families strong and healthy. Your support helps Spellbound expand access to profoundly connective moments through art in community spaces, on big stages, small stages, in schools, and in your home. Here's how you can support us:
  • Mail Spellbound a check to  Spellbound Theatre, 147 Prince Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. If you decide to send a check, please email Maureen Donohue at [email protected] to let us know.
  • Use the buttons below to give a small or large donation that goes directly to our bank account. For our tiny company, there is no donation too small.
