We believe that young people deserve sophisticated and innovative art experiences, as both audiences and art-makers, and we seek to create work that pushes past the stereotypes of children's theatre. We are constantly inspired by the complex and imaginative world of young children and are committed to a high standard of artistry for audiences of all ages.
Spellbound Theatre creates nationally touring theatre productions, public pop-up performances at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn, NY, and school storytelling performances for early childhood classrooms across the New York metro area. Each of our shows is based in the rich, imaginative tapestry of young children's world and utilizes a variety of art forms including storytelling, puppetry, animation, visual art, and physical theatre.
