We believe that young people deserve sophisticated and innovative art experiences, as both audiences and art-makers, and we seek to create work that pushes past the stereotypes of children's theatre. We are constantly inspired by the complex and imaginative world of young children and are committed to a high standard of artistry for audiences of all ages.
Spellbound Theatre creates nationally touring theatre productions, public pop-up performances at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn, NY, and school storytelling performances for early childhood classrooms across the New York metro area. Each of our shows is based in the rich, imaginative tapestry of young children's world and utilizes a variety of art forms including storytelling, puppetry, animation, visual art, and physical theatre.

Our public performances take place at the Old Stone House at Washington Park (336 3rd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215). These performances have been paused due to COVID-19 precautions.

Please note that the Old Stone House is not a wheelchair-accessible venue; pre-show activities take place on the first floor and the performance takes place up a flight of stairs.
If you would like to see a performance at an accessible venue, join us at one of our Free Family Art Days in partnership with Brooklyn Public Library. This programming has been paused due to COVID-19 precautions. We will be back in the Spring!
