Creative play for babies and toddlers

Stimulate your child's imagination and social-emotional development through creative play and the performing arts - book a Spellbound Explorers class for your playgroup! This class for 6-24 month olds immerses children and caregivers in magical, sensory experiences designed to spark imagination and cooperative play, while building language and social skills in a creative setting through hands-on play and experimentation. Classes are booked for groups (not individuals) and we send an artist to your home or community space on a schedule that works for your playgroup.

Group Rates:
Single visit class : $250 for up to 8 child/caregiver pairs
Six-week class: $1200 for up to 8 child/caregiver pairs

To book a group class, contact Susanna Brock at susanna@spellboundtheatre.com

Each group class is a new sensory adventure led by a professional artist specializing in early childhood, and includes an array of developmentally inspiring materials, puppets, and activities. Grown-ups will even get something out of this class - you will exercise your storytelling and creative muscles each week and come away with ideas for continuing the adventure at home.
Led by a professional artist/storyteller, each session is centered on a sensory theme, including:
  • In the Garden
  • Under the Waves
  • Hibernation
  • Sensory Circus
  • Catch a Star
  • Telling Tales

Classes can accommodate up to 8 child/caregiver pairs. It is the responsibility of one group member to coordinate space, schedule, and payment, and act as the primary contact person for Spellbound staff. All class participants receive a discount on Spellbound pop-up performance tickets for 2019-20 shows at the Old Stone House, and the primary contact participant will receive an additional four free tickets. For questions, contact Susanna Brock at susanna@spellboundtheatre.com.

NOTE: Individual registration is not available at this time. To receive updates on public Spellbound Explorers classes with individual registration (beginning Fall '19), please join our mailing list here:
